CHALLENGE

Create a lamp convenient for reading in bed. Also it should look good on the wall when it is not in use.

Strategy

Recently I was looking for a reading light in bed that would give enough light for reading, but not interfere with the sleeper next to me. Found that the choice is small. Most are either bulky, or have a large light spot, or look sloppy. One of the recent trends is natural minimalism aimed at minimizing the number of items in the interior and the transition to natural materials at all levels. This is why in our design the accuracy of forms, simplicity, tactility and functionality come to the fore.

Product

The lamp consists of two main parts: the first - a square base - is fixed on the wall, it contains the main mechanisms that provide lighting and change the angle of the lamp; the second is a remote part with a small lampshade, thanks to a telescopic guide, it can change its length to provide a directed light flux for the most comfortable reading.
